Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu urges citizens to generate electricity at home and encourages people to adopt renewable sources of energy like solar and wind power. This would make a huge difference in the household's electricity bills.

Surya Ghar: Launching of the Solar Pilot Project

When chief minister visited Surya Ghar Nadimuru village which falls in the Kuppam constituency and inagurating the 'solar pilot home project, chief minister mentioned with the use of home based energy power generation people benefit in so many ways.

• Consumption Level Generation: every House hold generates almost 200 Units of Electricity during a month; 60 Unit Utilization can use for his house.
• Grid Inflow: The 120 units will be fed into the grid, supplementing the energy source of the community.

Economic Gains to Households

Chandrababu described the economic benefits:

• Savings: A household will save around Rs. 4,000 every year in terms of electricity expenditure.
• Income Generation: A household will generate as much as Rs. 5,000 every year by selling back the surplus to the grid.

Future Prospects

The Chief Minister was optimistic about the fact that such projects will be adopted across the board, eliminating the financial burden of electricity bills for households. By focusing on renewable energy, the state is paving the way for a sustainable and cost-effective energy future.
