Body of SI Saikumar of Kamareddy district who was missing, recovered on Thursday morning. His body found in large pond at Adlur Yellareddy in Sadashivanagar mandal. Even, night before, i.e. on Wednesday evening bodies of Constable Shruti and Cooperative Society Operator Nikhil were also retrieved from this site.
The incident was of SI Saikumar, Constable Shruti, and Cooperative Society Operator Nikhil, all of whom went missing with an enigmatic end. The police initiated a search after they found their belongings on the banks of Adlur Yellareddy pond. The body of Shruti and Nikhil were seen near midnight on Wednesday night. But Saikumar's body was found the following morning.
Probe commenced when SI Saikumar's phone went dead by 3 pm on Wednesday. Constable Shruti, who was on desk-duty at BBpet police station reportedly left work that morning around, informing colleagues that she had gone home. As news reached her worried parents in the Gurjal, Gandhari mandal, police too were alerted.
By tracking the last location of Shruti through mobile phone signals, the police reached the Adlur Yellareddy pond. The SP Sindhu Sharma and her team reached the spot immediately to launch the search operation. It was around 11 pm on Wednesday when Shruti and Nikhil's bodies were recovered from the pond. Other articles such as the car of SI Saikumar, footwear of Nikhil, and other personal belongings were found nearby which escalated the suspicion.
The body of SI Saikumar was found this morning after an extensive search. The incident of disappearance and death is not yet clear, and the case is still under investigation.
