Manchu Mohan Babu's wife Nirmala has spoken about the family feud for the first time on Saturday. She denied accusations by her son Manchu Manoj about his elder brother, Vishnu, at the latter's residence. A letter was submitted to Pahadi Sharif police station by Nirmala refuting that Vishnu is not involved in any misdemeanor.
In her letter, Nirmala stated that Vishnu had come to their family home in Jalpalli on December 14 to celebrate her birthday by bringing a cake. According to her, Vishnu did not indulge in any altercation during his visit. She elaborated:
Nirmala also wrote that staff members working at the house had voluntarily resigned, which was not because of Vishnu's visit. She ended her letter saying that Vishnu had no involvement in the incident.
Manchu Manoj alleged that Vishnu caused major trouble at his residence on his mother's birthday in a statement he issued to the press on Sunday. He said:
Manoj said that the incident was very distressing, especially as it happened on their mother's birthday. He further said that he and his family were living in fear and sought legal action to get justice.
