Nara Devansh is the grandson of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and son of Minister Nara Lokesh. He has set a marvellous record. Solving 175 complex chess puzzles in just 11 minutes and 59 seconds, the nine-year-old boy clinched the title of 'Fastest Checkmate Solver - 175 Puzzles' from the most prestigious World Book of Records, London. The puzzles had been sourced from the reputed book 5334 Problems and Games.
He won numerous awards by scoring outstanding marks. Besides that, Devansh displayed excellent mastery over other competitions. It only took him 1 minute and 43 seconds to finish the 7-disc Tower of Hanoi puzzle and only 5 minutes to create nine chessboards with 32 pieces accurately placed on each board. These victories were certified by judges and World Book of Records officers.
His family had massive amounts of joy and pride after reading these groundbreaking achievements. According to Minister Nara Lokesh, Devansh's major inspiration was the inspiring performance of Indian chess players in international stages. "Thanks to Roy Chess Academy for their perfect guidance," Lokesh stated. He also praised dedication by Devansh that he used to train every day for 5-6 hours to prepare himself for the competition.
K. Rajasekhar Reddy, coach of Devansh, has been talking about the enthusiasm and skill of the young prodigy. "Devansh is a creative learner with the agility to solve complex puzzles swiftly and accurately," Reddy said.
Nara Brahmani, mother of Devansh and wife of Nara Lokesh, appreciated her son's hard work and dedication. "His achievements as the 'Fastest Checkmate Solver' reflect his hard work and passion for chess. We are deeply thankful to K. Kolusu Parthasarathy, the minister for information, spoke to the fact that he might become one of the top chess players of the world and pride the state as well as the nation. In individual statements, Agriculture Minister Atchannaidu and Revenue Minister Anani Satya Prasad wished Devansh a bright future.
Telugu Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu revealed how proud he feels of little Devansh bagging a world record. "I am proud to see you, my little grand master," said Naidu, highlighting his grandson's tough work and not giving up. These qualities are prerequisites for achievement and Naidu also attached a video, in which the young wizard is solving chess puzzles with his efforts.
