Prajavani Program Continues Despite Challenges Bhatti Vikramarka

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said that the Prajavani program, which provides a platform for citizens to directly raise their grievances, will not be stopped. Speaking at Hyderabad's Praja Bhavan on Tuesday, marking the program's first anniversary, he reiterated its importance as a bridge between the government and the people.

Initiatives for Tribal Welfare and Paddy Farmers

Bhatti Vikramarka revealed plans by the Tribal Welfare Department to start installing solar power for agricultural boards that support paddy cultivation. These steps are aimed at arming farmers with land titles under the Forest Rights Act to practice agriculture sustainably.

He observed that applications filed through the Prajavani program are being given timely solutions, where the feedback mechanism is ensuring that everything is transparent and answerable. "Our government is committed to addressing people's concerns responsibly," he said, adding that continuous monitoring and computerized processing of petitions have led to effective resolutions.

Criticism of Previous Governance

The Deputy Chief Minister slammed the previous Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government for ignoring the aspirations of the people of Telangana, especially the Podu farmers. He claimed that BJP mismanagement pushed Telangana back by decades, both in the context of the Forest Rights Act and democratic principles. "The BJP ignored the people's voice, but today, the Congress government is restoring hope by addressing longstanding issues," he said.

Prajavani's Success and Public Participation

Tuesday's event was a huge success, with 424 petitions submitted at Praja Bhavan. State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Chinna Reddy and other officials were present, underlining the program's success in promoting governance that prioritizes public welfare.
